The Purse Widget v3

Warning

The Purse Widget v3 is deprecated and is no longer the recommended path for new integrations.

Existing integrations stay supported. We will keep shipping security patches, bug fixes, and new MOP additions.

New major features and large UI changes will go to the new integration modes instead.

Browser support

The Purse checkout SDKs support Safari and iOS 15.4 or later, and the current major versions of Chrome (98+), Edge (98+), and Firefox (94+). Browsers older than this are not supported.

This baseline matches the minimum supported by comparable payment integrations and is enforced on every release: each built bundle is automatically verified against it in CI, so a release can never ship code that breaks a supported browser.

Getting Started

The Widget v3 is a configurable payment interface that allows your customers to:

  • Select a payment method based on your configuration,
  • Enter their banking details securely in a PCI-compliant environment.

To use it, the first step is to embed the widget script into your HTML page.
You can follow the instructions in our guide: How to build the Widget v3

Advanced Features & Customization

Once your widget is embedded, you might want to:

  • Customize its appearance,
  • Adjust its behavior,
  • Enable additional options like saved cards, pre-selected methods, or labels.

You can follow our step-by-step tutorials here : Explore widget customization
